PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of this position is to provide PeopleSoft HCM functional business analyst support. Key responsibilities include providing analysis and support of technology and process changes in the areas of human resources/payroll. Provide help desk and query support for the HR/Payroll. Serve as a PeopleSoft HR/Payroll business analyst and act as a liaison between Payroll, HR & IT.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provides functional PeopleSoft Business Analyst support and process improvement analysis for HR/Payroll by identifying, evaluating, and implementing system enhancements and procedures that are cost-effective and meet business requirements. Acts as liaison between HR/Payroll functional users and IT to lead analysis, requirements definition, system testing, implementation and training. (40%)
  • Extract and compile information to create and develop reports/queries to client's specifications. (30%)
  • Manages the scope and requirements for the implementation of projects to enhance systems capabilities within the HR & Payroll. (20%)
  • Resolve Incidents, Design enhancements/application solutions, set-up new features/functionality for HCM. Validate and align prioritization and categorization of tickets, changes, and enhancement requests with the business, other track leads, and functional owners. (10%)


JOB SCOPE

  • Responsible for requirements gathering, design reviews, testing, and implementation planning.
  • Responsible for tracking budget and scope of projects that range ranging in value from $50,000 to $250,000.
  • Work with developers to understand and document program development requirements
  • Mentor and guide the team and provide subject matter expertise to junior resources
  • Prepare complex reports for employee data contained in the HCM in response to requests from business process owners and users in other departments.
  • Works under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in a business related field or Information Systems and at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a functional role supporting Human Resources/ Payroll, or IT experience with a focus on HR, Payroll applications.
  • Minimum 4 years experience working with PeopleSoft HRMS, with in depth knowledge of end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud /EBS including development of queries, Fast Formula’s and reports.
  • Project management and process improvements experience.
  • Ability to work independently and take leadership role in working with various stakeholders to identify and translate business requirements into functional specifications through hands-on analysis
  • Strong oral and written communications.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated ability in training and in-depth knowledge of Human Resources, Payroll, and Timekeeping systems.
  • Experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Fusion/EBS, Payroll, Tax and Benefits, HCM Data Loader.
  • Previous Payroll benchmarking and process improvement experience.
