Execute Procurement Engineering activities to support Plant Operations to including determining technical procurement requirements utilizing the plant design basis to maintain configuration control.


  • Assist with the implementation of the Procurement Engineering processes and programs. 
  • Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned
  • Assist with the analysis of equipment; commercial grade dedication; material evaluations and classifications; and replacement and reverse engineering analysis. 
  • Complete Procurement Engineering training and qualification requirements 


  • Works under direct supervision of the Procurement Engineering Supervisor and qualified Procurement Engineers to assist with the implementation of Procurement Engineering processes and programs.
  • Determination of technical procurement requirements using the plant design basis to maintain configuration control.
  • Implement material classification, commercial grade dedication, technical evaluation, alternate replacement, shelf life, Processing of special quality assurance documents, Reverse Engineering, ASME Code reconciliation, non-safety related (NSR) requirements including augmented quality and bill of materials processes
  • Attends training and successfully completes all Procurement Engineering qualification requirements in a timely manner.
  • On the job training. 



Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, science or related field


  • PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Passport, Hyperion)
  • Communication (verbal, written) skills.
  • Data analysis skills
