PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Supervise multiple robotic operators in a geographic region managing the team operations, project execution, and operational readiness of all resource. Provide direction, technical expertise and supervision to operators and project teams. Responsibilities shall include mission planning, scheduling, risk analysis and mitigation, cost control, safety assurance, maintenance and testing of inspection platforms and related equipment. Supervise employees, contract labor and outside contractors to support missions, projects, or to supplement department work force. Responsible for daily supervision, monitoring and coaching of employees to ensure a productive workforce in compliance with Company’s safety, business and ethical standards and assure compliance with all applicable government and industry regulations and practices.  Ensure cost controls and efficient unit operation in support of the Company’s goals and objectives.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.    Supervise, plan and safely direct the operational activities in the regional operations department. Support Product Line Managers that lead the various Clearsight product lines and maintain effective communications with work teams and clients.
2.    Manage and supervise operators and provide leadership by training, appraising, coaching, counseling, rewarding and developing associates.
3.    Manage resources and work within established budgets using plan, schedule and project control methods, and project development.
4.    Understand, support, communicate and administer company policies, practices and procedures to meet management's expectations of effective business controls.
5.    Act as an interface with customers, sales team, technical team and vendors in support of achieving business objectives.
6.    Assure all activities are planned and executed safely, efficiently, in accordance with procedures, codes, and regulations, with a high regard for customer satisfaction.
7.    Assume responsibility for safety and well-being of employees by maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing established safety rules and regulations.
 

Qualifications

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum:
•    HS Diploma (or equivalent) and at least 10 years job related work experience, or the equivalent combination of formal education/training and experience.
•    Supervisory experience, including first line supervision level, project management, team direction, peer challenging, and senior leadership interface
•    Leadership ability to implement and manage corporate change initiatives and organizational strategies
•    Ability to develop, and maintain effective working relationships with customers, peers, subordinates, and management.
•    Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Remote pilot part 107 certification 
•    Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear access
•    Consistent demonstration of safety as a personal and organizational value.
•    Ability to travel within and out of the United States.
•    Technical, analytical, and organizational skills along with strong demonstrated oral and written skills
•    Proficient computer skills in MS Office and other Windows based applications

Preferred:
•    A UVSI Level 3 UAV Operator
•    Electrical Transmission and Distribution knowledge
•    Nuclear and non-nuclear electrical generation knowledge

OTHER REQUIREMENTS AND POSITION SCOPE
•    Provides safe and efficient utilization of operators and equipment to complete inspections and projects at minimal cost
•    Support high service availability for direct revenue generation through effective scheduling and utilization of resources.
•    Responsible for daily supervision, monitoring, coaching and appraising of up to 15 operators to ensure a productive workforce in compliance with company policies, procedures.
•    Supervise assigned projects, emergent or planned work mobilization, cost, schedule, progress reporting, contractor/vendor performance and inspection quality. 
•    Foster inter and intra departmental teamwork to meet the company’s mission and objectives.
•    Supports research and development, studies, field evaluations on new and modified platforms/equipment, and procedures to improve department performance.
