PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position will be a part of a focused group contributing to Exelon’s enterprise-wide technology evolution. You will be part of the team building the foundation for the continuous development and improvement of the internal and external customers experiences. This is a senior individual contributor role that will provide an opportunity to lead and mentor in various project efforts.
This role is highly focused on IT change management across our customer organization. You will perform activities related to all aspects of IT change management during the implementation of a new customer information system, Oracle’s Customer Care and Billing System, across two large utilities. Additional work around documentation, reporting, communicating the impacts of implementation and retiring systems, and documenting practices and methodologies will be required. This person will be a member of a project change management team interfacing with many internal and external teams.
This is a fast-paced team with the potential for days when we, as a team, may be required to work extended hours and/or shift work to support our effort and meet assignment deliverables. This doesn’t mean we won’t take the time to celebrate our victories, incorporate fun days to volunteer, and fun team building events. There will be opportunity to work across teams and take on new tasks outside of the routine work that will give you the opportunity to grow and learn new skills.
