An administrative coordinator assists the Tax Department with administrative functions and executes a variety of tasks. The administrative coordinator is expected to be familiar with a variety of the Company’s policies, practices, and procedures. The administrative coordinator may have access to sensitive information and must maintain the strictest confidentiality. The position reports directly to a Tax Director.
  1. Assists with inquiries from within the department and from other departments and outside vendors, orders office supplies, assists in onboarding/offboarding employees and contractors, arranges for department meals, assists with tax department vendor payments and accruals, and performs various other office support functions.
  2. Provides general office and administrative support to the Tax Directors and overall Tax Department.
  3. Processes monthly tax payments for numerous taxing jurisdictions and legal entities.
  4. Monitors budget activities and analyzes trends.
  5. Participates in or handles special projects as appropriate, including planning department events.
  6. Updates the Exelon tax legal entity organizational chart quarterly.


  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years of administrative work experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of PC and mainframe applications, including Windows, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Concur, myHR and PassPort.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and discretion, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated administrative, organizing and planning skills.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a high performance culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust and communicate effectively (written & verbal).
