PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Reports to the Manager Transportation Services.  Interface with executives and their staffs, authorizers/requestors, and passengers to plan and schedule flight requests for domestic and international air travel.  

*** Off-hour support is required; Before or After Work with Weekend Coverage Rotation Schedule.  Location of the role will be at our ETD Hangar Located in West Chicago, IL.   ***

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

- Plans and schedules flight requests for corporate air travel, to include both domestic and international flights, coordinates and plans all details for trips on company aircraft including ground transportation and catering for passengers, handling arrangements for aircraft, and support for flight crews.  Optimization of flight schedules for operational and budget efficiencies.  Familiar with and ensure compliance with applicable Exelon and ETD policies and procedures. 

- Monitor corporate and supplemental lift aircraft flights to identify, advise, and communicate flight status including issues that may impact passengers’ schedules.  Coordinates with Maintenance and Flight Operations personnel regarding aircraft availability and in-flight status in support of scheduling and monitoring in-flight status for overall scheduling impacts; alternate air and ground transportation, hotels, catering, and communications with all affected personnel. Independently adjust schedule as needed.

- Primary interface with corporate executives and their administrative assistants.  Confirms all details of scheduled trips with the responsible parties and ensures executive travels needs are met.  Responsible for the relationship with executives and their support staff.  

- Interface with passengers, visitors etc. that arrive at the facility.  Helps ensure Exelon security measures are implemented in accordance with applicable procedures.

- Assists and provides back-up support to the Manager-Transportation Services in managing scheduling department accountabilities.  Backup for Scheduling budget, performance monitoring metrics and corporate presentations. Identifies improvement opportunities and facilitates Scheduling and cross functional department teams.  Support for PFM Invoice Data Entry, Jet Billings, SIFL and Concur. 
- Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, support of the ETD ERP, participation in SMS, PFM scheduling, departmental metrics, office and facilities supply ordering and stocking etc.  Additional assigned duties as needed. 

POSITION SCOPE:
Interface with executives and their staffs, authorizers/requestors, and passengers to plan and schedule flight requests for domestic and international air travel.  Develop, partner, and manage relationships with: Executives, Executive Assistants, Exelon Corporate Partners; Business Analyst, Transportation Director; Flight Crews; Maintenance Personnel; Fixed Base Operator Personnel; Aviation Service Providers/Vendors; NBAA, HAI, CABAA and other aviation trade organizations

Qualifications

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS 

Minimum:
- Seven (7) years aviation experience with three (3) years of corporate jet/helicopter scheduling; Strong Flight Department Operational knowledge/subject matter expertise of scheduling software/tools such as PFM, Flight Bridge, Foreflight, ARINC. etc.  Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more of the following jet/helicopter scheduling functions; International Flights; Helicopter Operations; Schedule Optimization. 
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently set priorities, plan, and execute.  Capable of providing leadership to lead and facilitate diverse work groups/cross discipline teams

- Strong PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Passport, Hyperion, etc).

- Superior interpersonal skills; able to communicate with Executive Management and across multiple disciplines; excellent written and oral communications. 

- Off-hour support is required; Before or After Work with Weekend Coverage. Ability to work remote and accurately coordinate and communicate changes to schedule is needed.

Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in aviation, business, engineering, science or related field with five (5) years related experience of which (3) years is corporate aviation experience.  
- Associates Degree in aviation related field with seven (7) years of related experience of which (3) years is corporate aviation experience.  
- High school diploma or equivalent with nine (7) years of related experience of which (3) years is corporate aviation experience.  
- Holds an FAA Aircraft Dispatch License or a Commercial Pilot’s certificate.
- Exelon leadership/supervisory development training.
