The Landman is responsible for actively managing all land aspects of certain assets within Upstream¿s inventory of oil and gas projects. Candidate will be responsible for:- Reviewing, interpreting and negotiating various oil and gas contracts and leases including but not limited to Oil and Gas Leases, Joint Venture Agreements, Joint Operating Agreements, Joint Development Agreements, Participation Agreements, Farmouts, Area of Mutual Interest Agreements, and Marketing Agreements for purposes of understanding all obligations and entitlements under such agreements.
- Facilitate internal distribution, approval and response process for all well proposals and other AFEs for expenditures in various CEU projects. Ensure elections are made in line with internal approval securing fullest extent of participation rights intended. Work with engineering group to meet firm deadlines in this regard.
- Acquire and update staff as to regulatory information for Oklahoma, Arkansas and Michigan activity related to pooling and integration activity.
- Track acreage activity including existing lease inventory, new acreage acquisitions, and expiring acreage and provide activity reports as needed by and for benefit of department.
- Work directly with industry counterparts to obtain requisite lease/contract information related to joint venture drilling and development.
- Review drilling title opinions to ensure inclusion of all CEU affiliate¿s leases in drilling units and to understand curative status and assess title risks pre-drill.
- Provide contract due diligence review and/or coordination of third party efforts to do so in context of new acquisition opportunities, including creation/submittal of title defects to selling party.
- Assisting in the organization of data rooms and information gathering when CEGC upstream assets are divested.
- Preparation of lease and well exhibits for key oil and gas contracts negotiated by the land department.
- Ability to direct brokers in field appropriately to acquire, renew, and record leasehold as well as obtain title curative.
- Review third party Joint Interest Billings to ensure compliance by third party with terms and conditions of the applicable Joint Operating Agreement and COPAS Agreement.
- Attend partner meetings and interface directly with industry partners and operators.
- Provide support to division order staff with information needed to validate CECG working and net revenue interests in various projects by well and lease based on title curative and contract interpretation.
- Work with land librarian to update central land files and shared drive files with copies of all contracts and written communication.
- Assisting with the integration of newly acquired assets into the upstream portfolio

Additional Qualifications
Candidate must have:
- 1-5 years experience working in a land or legal capacity, preference for person with experience in-house
- Possesses a four year college degree, preference for PLM/Energy Commerce or law degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Microsoft Access, Excalibur, Bolo, LandPro or other land database helpful.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Some travel may be required.

Plan and prepare work packages for work to be performed by the respective maintenance departments (EM, IM, MM and other supplemental groups as required by planning management) to insure that the plant maintenance is performed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner, in compliance with the QA manual, company policies, procedures, and applicable codes and standards.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Plan and prepare work instructions that provide direction to the Maintenance Department for corrective maintenance repairs, performance of preventive maintenance and surveillances, and the implementation of modifications. Select and approve purchase, or make procurement recommendations for all materials needed for work package execution.
- Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective and preventive maintenance, modification and surveillance activities and to provide input for refining and improving work package quality. Interface and collaborate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues.
- Define procedures, drawings, equipment and materials required to performing planned work packages. Facilitate package preparation by preparing and/or submitting OOSs, RWPs, plant barrier impairments, welding/grinding permits, fire impairments, Operability impact statements, ALARA task outs, Regulatory/Code documentation, NOS hold/witness points, freeze seal and temporary leak repair documentation, and other requests.
- Verify work instructions are adequate and comply with all applicable station procedures including NSPs, NSWPs, ASME Code, etc. Approve and review all required work packages to ensure safety, high quality, technical rigor, and 10CFR50.59 screening or evaluation (if required).
- Develop revise, and review maintenance procedures to facilitate and enhance work package development, maintain compliance with codes, standards, and vendor recommendation, and maintenance direction.
- Provide project management of other system planners or contractors to develop detailed elements of overall package preparation.
- Participate in work control/scheduling meetings, planning feedback/craft interface time, detailed contract requisition reviews, complex troubleshooting, Rework reviews, OPCC reviews, detailed OPEX searches, Maintenance risk/CO request reviews, Planner peer reviews, and system interaction reviews to ensure applicable station processes and applicable changes are supported.
